How do I know if therapy is working?

In your second session, your therapist will discuss your treatment plan with you. This will be a document that details the presenting problem (why you came to therapy) and ways that we can work together to help you improve. The goals and objectives are written in a Specific Measurable Attainable Relevant and Time - Based (SMART) way, so that the client knows what they can expect to see and by when in terms of improvement. 

The treatment plan is made in collaboration with and agreed upon by the client and will be reviewed every 3 months.
